William Mulholland and Co Lawyers

William has a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Economics, Master of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degrees and was admitted in Victoria in February 2002.

William is a former professional performer who appeared in the original Melbourne cast of 'Cats’. He has also worked as a political adviser, corporate recruitment consultant/head-hunter and now commercial/IP lawyer.

William has acted for a number of both private and publicly listed companies and SMEs in a range of commercial and corporate matters including brand protection advice, intellectual property (IP) contractual advice including service agreements and terms and conditions reviews, corporate structuring including shareholder agreements, commercial litigation/dispute resolution and the development of commercialisation of intellectual property strategies (including franchising).

William offers clients expertise in employment and industrial law. Formerly a union representative, Ministerial Adviser, and executive recruiter, William remains an active participant within the Victorian employment and industrial relations arena and remains highly informed on all legal and industry developments.

His practice has included the provision of advice with respect to remuneration, employment contracts, and confidentiality and restraint issues. William has appeared at the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and various other dispute resolution bodies.

William is currently a member of the Arts Law Referral Service run by the Arts Management Advisory Group. He also works as a professional MC, Production Consultant and Speaker and regularly presents on the areas of contracts, copyright and brand protection strategies for business. He has hosted "A Day on the Green", the TXU International Cricket Classic 2002 at Telstra Dome and the September 11 Memorial Lunch at the Hyatt featuring the Victorian Governor and Premier, and the RCSA
International Conference 2004 at Crown Casino.
